The pendulum of the mind is powerless against nature

“The pendulum of the mind oscillates between sense and nonsense, not between right and wrong”, - Carl Jung.

We are born with feelings and emotions. It’s our nature.

The first thing a baby does when he is born is to start crying, to frown. And he doesn't care at all whether he is disturbing someone with his crying, disturbing their peace, making them nervous, or whether he looks ugly and rude. He is cold and uncomfortable after entering the big world from the safe womb of his mother, so he expresses it in the way he knows how at that time. For a long time he relies on his feelings and emotions, not his mind, which is why we, adults, "strain" our nerves, and it seems stupid. This infuriates us because we cannot change or control anything. Up to two years old, a child is in a "sponge" state, when the experience of feelings and actions is accumulated, and from two to six years old he is still in a kind of hypnotic state, when logical reasoning is lacking and he dreams a lot. Only later, around the age of seven, does the mind turn on and turn life upside down. The control mechanism is activated. FINALLY?!

By that time, we have accumulated a lot of emotional and sensory experience, but suddenly the decisions of the mind begin to dominate. We stop listening to what our body tells us, and we are guided only by accumulated knowledge, which often limits us or leads us not where our heart or intuition tells us. We rely on the opinions of others, societal standards and accepted truths, and not on our inner wisdom. Until one day we get stuck, because we are spinning in the same mental traps and nothing makes us happy anymore. We feel disappointed in ourselves, having lost confidence and self-love because we are tired. And after all, everyone said that if we do this, everything will be fine. However, what is good for one person will not necessarily be good for another, because we were born with different needs and life goals. And by listening to the rules of the same standard of the mind, we lead ourselves to a dead end from which we cannot find a way back, because we do not listen to our body.

We listen to our mind, and the mind is only a tool to achieve a goal. So what if we do not pursue our goal, follow the wrong path and waste energy?

Indeed, the mind has served humanity very much, so that we can become an educated society from a primitive community, so that a multitude of inventions can be created, diseases cured. However, only now, having reached a high level of development, humanity has realized that it has strayed too far from its nature and is only chasing the benefits of capitalism. We are already officially called a society of burnout and anxiety, because we do not hear ourselves. That voice in our head is not what we should listen to and where we should focus our attention.

First, we must listen to our heart, and then program our thoughts to lead in the direction indicated by the heart. When we do the opposite, our heart is restless because it feels abandoned, and we take medicines invented by the mind to calm it, instead of silencing the mind and feeling what the body is saying.

So we can resist nature, suppress it with drugs and other addictions, but the time will come when it will have to be listened to.

Don't wait until it gets bad. Only when you feel that you are stuck, seek help. Hypnotherapy can help you hear what your body is saying, because it takes you to the subconscious, which stores all the accumulated experiences and feelings. There, the mind loses its power, and feelings find their way back to you, along with the answers to the questions that the mind cannot answer.
