Be a river

I invite you to accept the challenge and be a river this year. I myself know how difficult it is, because our conscious mind is a big noisemaker and wants to direct where our life should flow. But what would we lose if we trusted our subconscious (the universe) and let things happen?
Probably many of us, and I am no exception, get stuck in our heads. We start to puzzle, strategize, look for reasons why one thing or another happened and we don't realize how we start to sink into anxiety, depression, self-sabotage, fears and self-doubt. We create that misery for ourselves, from which it becomes difficult to get out of, because it seems that it will never end... What if we just let our minds quiet down and live? Would we stop thinking about why life happens the way it does? Of course, not only beautiful things will happen, maybe you will have to go through painful lessons, but they are all meant to free us, to grow us and lead us to where we need to be. It is important to live them externally and not to transfer them to the box of the mind, to accept that this is also life. It sounds nice, try it, you will see that it is not always easy. But when we learn to control our thoughts, stop and silence them, we hear peace.
We are often drawn into a vortex of thoughts by false beliefs formed in childhood, learned behavior, low self-esteem - we must be this way, not another. But if we realized that we cannot control anything except our thoughts and reactions to events, would we let everything happen and not try to change anything? After all, it would be freedom from suffering, a state of peace that everything is as it should be.
And instead of us trying to solve various puzzles in our head that are not meant for us, we could give in to the stream and just enjoy what is happening. Because the river does not flow uphill... No matter how much we try to change events, people or what we cannot change, everything will still happen the way it has to happen, because if it could have happened differently, it would have happened differently.
Seems simple, doesn't it? And we dig those mountains, try to change the riverbed, waste energy that could be directed elsewhere, to create what we are destined to create.
Let's let events flow, let's live, let's not be stones that want to block our being.
How to do it? Let's dream and let dreams come true. I understand that it is not always easy when your head is full of thoughts about what happened, why, why me, how to make it happen differently next time. No need.
We have five senses (hearing, sight, touch, taste, smell), and we live only by listening to our mind. The mind often plays its games with us like a crazy monkey, but it does not lead us to where we really should appear, but only distracts us from peace, because we operate with it as much as we have experience. And what is our experience compared to the infinity of the universe? Can we really rely on the conscious mind when our subconscious makes up 95% of our experiences and only 5% is the conscious mind. So maybe we should better feel, hear, see that life is wonderful and we don't need to forcefully change it? Let's turn on the conscious mind when we need to stop our thoughts. And let's be rivers - maybe at first we'll be like those small rivulets that boil while stumbling behind stones, as if behind their own thoughts, but boldly flow far until they flow into a bigger river, which already flows more calmly, more steadily. There is already more power, more confidence in that peace. It is still full of “stones”, thoughts do not disappear anywhere. But deep water of the river covers them, so that it has no effect on its flow. Let's not dam the water, let's flow until we flow into even wider lakes, seas or oceans and then limitless possibilities will open up.
How can hypnotherapy help here? First of all, removing dams - those beliefs and blocks that prevent us from hearing ourselves, which are stronger than our desires, which are sometimes not even our own, but formed by our environment, family. Helps calm that crazy monkey in your head. When the blocks are gone, the hypnosis recording is like letting the water flow down the riverbed and dreams come true. So trust your subconscious, let it help you be the rivers.
